Natural SEO Strategy

SEO is the most important issue for any website that aims to generate audience. Optimize SEO is essential and should preferably be designed from the very beginning of the design of the website. It is not complicated to be well positioned on search engines (except for very competitive niches) by applying a strategy that SEO revolves around three axes:

- The optimization technique of referencing (the "structure" of the site, so Google tell Google what's important and what is less)

- Optimizing the content in an optical SEO (it's the content users are looking for, what is the relevance of content that Google is trying to assess and allows a ranking of sites)

- Optimization of links for SEO (ie the "popularity of the site," Google measures the assumed interest for the content mainly through quantitative and qualitative analysis of links to that content: the backlinks)

Ensuring work specifically these three areas of SEO, you should be able to reach your goals much easier referencing.

SEO strategy: the content

- Choose KeyWords to reference a priority and Top 10

It is necessary to define a semantic space to position a set of KW, always the same, in order to get closer to the top spot on the KW. A short list must be created because it is difficult to work correctly on too many of KW. To help me choose my KeyWords, I use the forecasting tools of traffic from Google: Google Insight and Google Keyword Tool.

- Optimization / text creation

Content is King! It is the favorite phrase of any SEO. This is the key to position themselves. We need the Keywords (KW) are repeated as many times in the text (5% seems a figure not to exceed) to expect out of these KW in the SERP (for English "search engine results page," the result page of Google search for example). Preferably, place the keywords in the top of the page. Of course, remember still being written primarily for the user, and not for Google!

SEO strategy: the technique

- Optimization SEO title tag (title page)

The page title is one of the most important elements considered by search engines. We therefore need the most to hope KW can improve the ranking, while keeping in mind that this is the title that appears in search results and must therefore encourage the click!

It should also vary on each page as the page content should match the Title.

In many situations (blogs, news sites, ecommerce website) it is interesting to gain time to implement a Title page which is generated automatically. The CMS (Content Managing System) used to develop the site usually offers this feature (or a plugin can do).

On an ecommerce site with a catalog Therefore, the automatic generation is especially adapted to the product pages. In this case, one can imagine a title like this:

Nitro at SnowShop | Snowboard Nitro Target | Snowboard Freeride | Mountain Equipment

On an informative site or a blog, it automates the title pages of articles showing the name of the article. There are often plugins to complete the title if necessary (this may better position themselves in a highly competitive term)

- Optimization SEO Hx tags

Different Heading are used to structure the page. The H1 is the title of the document, the H H2 H3 ... correspond to sub-titles. Google gives more importance to include keywords in Hx compared to the rest of this content in paragraphs.

- Optimization SEO Meta tags and Meta Keywords Desc

It seems certain that these meta tags do not improve the natural search at Google. Desc meta tag is used to replace the snippet (text description of the page) autogenerated by Google as such it is important to encourage the click

- Tags, Sitemaps and Robots.txt

The tag allows emboldening the KW and tells the engine that the word is somewhat larger than other

The Sitemaps helps speed indexing, while the Robots.txt file to specify the pages to not index.

SEO strategy: the links

- Create a list of content sites, forums, books on the topics of my site for future affiliation agreements and SEO (Search Engine Optimization)

The goal is to have a list from which we will try to generate BackLinks (inbound links) to improve the SEO and also do affiliate partnerships to generate sales / conversions if possible.

- Sign in directories of specialized sites

This allows the generation of BL (backlinks). This is very important because again Google is going to judge a site is reliable and therefore gets better place if many other sites have URLs that link to my site. Preferably, the BL must come from sites on the same topic as my site. The link created must have an anchor (the text referring to the URL) corresponding to my target keyword.

- Creating Press Releases

Beyond the direct creation of traffic (visitors who read the press release will click on the link back to your site to find out more) and BL generated will be valuable to improve the positioning in search engines. More on the ticket of Gregory's blog Buzzinessman

- Participating in forums addressing the same issues as mine

Through the forum, it is possible to easily generate backlinks with your message signature. Many forums (including those running phpBB, an open source forum engine) can add a personal signature to all your posts. By creating a link to your site in the signature, I greatly improves the positioning of the link anchor (the text referring to the URL) into the search engines.

It should however be careful not to pollute the discussions, but instead contribute to improve the content of posts made by forum. This is to avoid offending administrators (to advertise is not always seen). Some tips on finding Oseox: How intelligently spamming forums.

- Optimizing the mesh internal

Create internal links can highlight different pages compared to other according to the objectives of referencing. This enables Google to better navigate the site and so a better way to reference the pages (especially pages that are called deep multi-level sub-categorization).

Finally on SEO Strategy

- Installation and configuration of a positioning tracking software

Indispensable tool to monitor the positioning of a KW, and thus judge the work. AdvancedWebRanking is often cited as a very complete and reasonably priced (the interface is quite austere). Alternative: Yooda SeeuRank (more expensive but really good too) and Ranks.fr (the cheapest, fun to use for the essential information: the positioning. Advantage: it is accessible on the internet, while the first two are s installed on a computer)

- Example of SEO Strategy with two dummy words "Nitro" and "Snowboard Clothing"

I have seen the effectiveness of this strategy by applying it myself (I unfortunately can not tell you the true words I used, but they come close). These two terms have been selected after analysis of statistics Google Adwords (these two are clicked KW and cost a lot of money), Analytics (both KW convert many users) and traffic forecasting tools.

Process:

- Generation of two times of 50 backlinks with several forums and sports sites 3 press releases.

- Rework slightly to include more content often both KW

- Addition of two KW in several title pages and internal links

- Addition of two terms in H1 (on two different pages) 3 and H2

After a short time (two months), and a strategy moderately "intensive" in terms of SEO, in relation to the competition of these two terms (a recognized brand in the community and a pretty generic term), improving the position is more than satisfactory:

Nitro: From position 35 to position 7

Snowboard clothing: from position 29 to position 10

Keeping in mind that positioning is on average after 6 months minimum, hopefully with a little effort the first places that are reached

So much for the ticket summary to be the right strategy to improve its SEO. I'll come back specifically on each of three axes in future posts! Feel free to let me know any questions, remarks or supplements

SEO Strategies for Fashion Brand Optimization

2011 was an amazing year for fashion brands and retailers, not only in terms of their embracing of social media, but also in terms of how they’re getting creative and dynamic with their content.

That being said, we know that Facebook, Twitter and Youtube are most brands’ top marketing mediums online. I’ve discussed the basic and advanced marketing aspects of Facebook and discussed Twitter in-depth in video. Now it’s time to talk about YouTube.

1. Video Marketing (Viral Marketing)

Doing tests on visitors that come from video sites like Youtube, Vimeo and other sites. So far, the results have been surprising. The conversion rate of visitors from Youtube was about 20 percent higher than from the search engines and Video will continue to be big in 2011.

At the same time, brands and retailers need to use Youtube to drive online traffic to select destinations and enhance website search engine optimization strategies.

1. Optimize Youtube channels

2. Make Your Fashionable YouTube Content SEO Friendly

3.YouTube Marketing For Brands & Retailers

2. Social Impact (Ranking Factor)

2011 was the year social media marketing threw its weight around and affected search rankings. This will likely become more prevalent in the coming year. To increase rankings, SEO specialists will have to create valuable, shareable content and how to spread the word through various social sites.

As the search engines put more emphasis on the popularity of links shared through Twitter and Facebook, social media will become a necessary tool for link building.

One month after the site’s revamp and SEO work has been executed, we would recommend the following steps are followed:

1. Complete Twitter maintenance.

2. Tweet promotions and follower management

3. Facebook fan page maintenance (Facebook advertising)

4. Facebook community build-up

5. Creating a profile on http://hubpages.com which is update weekly with new content using keywords for additional optimization

6. Creating profile on www.squidoo.com which is update regularly with new content using keywords, Links for additional optimization

7. Blogging – We advise you to install a Blog on your site (if not already present), which we will maintain. We will keep updating 2 posts per week in it. We then promote the same through blog communities, blog commenting, bookmarking and other allied techniques. We have a team of veteran copywriters who can research, create and develop blogs on any and every topic under the sun.

3. Blogging and Link Wheel

Blogging continues to be an effective tool for thought leadership, link bait, and a way to leverage social media to drive website traffic and leads. Guest blogging benefits both the guest and the host. The host will get fresh content on its site while the guest blogger will received a link from the host. Both sides will be able to use each other’s resources to help share the blog and spread it online. It’s a win-win for both involved.

Blog Commenting is also a great way to obtain quality links, and to extend your network. Link Wheels, set up with 2 or more Blog platforms will also help get you more priority links and more importance from search engines.

4. Content Marketing

Content marketing (e.g. infographics, blog posts, press releases, white papers and SEO articles) increases SEO through natural link building, establishes thought leadership, makes companies more interesting on social media, and drives traffic and leads.

It’s in producing unique and interesting content and stories that attracts visitors and builds your brand. Companies must become journalists and storytellers.

5. Local Search Marketing

With 90 percent of shoppers searching Google before they head out the door, local Internet marketing and Google Maps are a must for any business trying to get people into their doors.

Google has almost completely replaced the Yellow Pages as a place where people look for local businesses. If you’re not on Google maps, you may as well not exist.

6. Pay Per Click Advertising (PPC)

This older Internet marketing strategy is still a key element of search marketing. Pay per click management creates awareness and produces qualified traffic and leads. You can use PPC to help test what keywords deliver the highest quality of traffic to your site, while at the same time giving your business a boost in traffic.

7. Conversion Optimization

While this is not technically part of SEO, conversion optimization, the process of turning more visitors into paying customers, will determine the success of any SEO campaign. It will become even more valuable in the coming year as more become aware of the practice that tests different designs, call to actions and other details to find what converts the most website visitors into leads and sales.

Before, marketers were only concerned with driving more traffic and being content with their conversion rate, Now, some of those marketers are figuring out that it’s cheaper and more effective to tweak their website to get more revenue out of the same amount of traffic.

  1. Off-Page Recognition:-

The goal for either is to drive web traffic (visitors) to your website.

1. General and UK based directory submissions for permanent 1 way link.

2. Local Listing and optimize with lots of reviews

3. Needed local listing and search engine listings.

4. Image Optimize

5. Article submission is needed for permanent 1 way link

6. Press release submission for relevant traffic.

7. 1 way link building would benefit the site on a huge scale but for newer domain the results would be shown after 3-5 months of strategic link building.

8. Links from some authority sites or trusted domains, from .edu,.org and some quality .com sites can boost the SERP ranking for the longer run, but it’s a challenging task to incorporate.

9. Social bookmarking is very essential for traffic flow.

WebMaster Guidelines - Creating Google Friendly sites

In before article I have give information on webmaster guidelines - general design, technical, and quality guidelines and now this articles related to creating a Google-friendly site.
Google Webmaster Guidelines provide general design, technical, and quality guidelines. Below are more detailed tips for creating a Google-friendly site.

Give visitors the information they're looking for

Provide high-quality content on your pages, especially your homepage. This is the single most important thing to do. If your pages contain useful information, their content will attract many visitors and entice webmasters to link to your site. In creating a helpful, information-rich site, write pages that clearly and accurately describe your topic. Think about the words users would type to find your pages and include those words on your site.

Make sure that other sites link to yours

Links help Google crawlers find your site and can give your site superior visibility in Google search results. When returning results for a search, Google uses difficult text-matching techniques to display pages that are both main and relevant to each search. Google interprets a link from page A to page B as a vote by page A for page B. Votes cast by pages that are themselves "important" weigh more deeply and help to make other pages "important."

Keep in mind that Google algorithms can recognize natural links from unnatural links. Natural links to your site develop as part of the dynamic nature of the web when other sites find your content wrathful and think it would be helpful for their visitors. Unnatural links to your site are placed there specific to make your site look more popular to search engines. Some of these types of links (such as link schemes and entryway pages) are covered in Google Webmaster Guidelines.
Only natural links are useful for the indexing and ranking of your site.

Make your site easily accessible

Build your site with a logical link structure. Every page should be reachable from at least one static text link.

Use a text browser, such as Lynx, to scrutinize your site. Most spiders see your site much as Lynx would. If features such as JavaScript, cookies, session IDs, frames, DHTML, or Macromedia Flash keep you from seeing your entire site in a text browser, then spiders may have trouble crawling it.

Things to avoid

Don't fill your page with lists of keywords, attempt to "cloak" pages, or put up "crawler only" pages. If your site contains pages, links, or text that you don't intend visitors to see, Google considers those links and pages deceptive and may ignore your site.

Don't feel obligated to purchase a search engine optimization service. Some companies claim to "guarantee" high ranking for your site in Google's search results. While legitimate consulting firms can improve your site's flow and content, others employ deceptive tactics in an attempt to fool search engines. Be careful; if your domain is affiliated with one of these deceptive services, it could be banned from Google index.

Don't use images to display important names, content, or links. Google crawler doesn't acknowledge text contained in graphics. Use ALT attributes if the main content and keywords on your page can't be formatted in regular HTML.
